Applewood Pointe of New Brighton
Applewood Pointe of New Brighton has won the Reader's Choice Award in 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 for the "Best Retirement Community" by readers of the Lillie Suburban Newspapers. It is located at Highway 96 and Old Highway 8, Applewood Pointe of New Brighton boasts stunning views of Rush Lake. With its western exposure, residents enjoy beautiful sunsets over the lake.
The community has approximately 700 to 800 feet of shore line along Rush Lake. Most of the other portions of Rush Lake are contained within Long Lake Regional Park, which is adjacent to the cooperative's site.
