Jaclyn Carey, marketing manager, 952-884-3807
Jaclyn Carey joined the Applewood Pointe team in 2003 as the marketing manager. She is responsible for the sales, marketing and the move-in process. Jaclyn plays a key role in the development of sales and marketing processes, as well in the development and management of the marketing team. Prior to her work with Applewood Pointe, Jaclyn was a district trainer and pharmaceutical representative, a certified exercise specialist and an exercise physiologist. She volunteers at Faithful Shepherd Catholic School and at St. John Neuman Church. Jaclyn earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has completed marketing courses at the University of St. Thomas School of Business. She is also a licensed real estate agent.

Chuck Ellis, director of marketing, 952-884-3812
Chuck joined the Applewood Pointe team in 2002 as its marketing director. He is responsible for developing the marketing strategy and managing the overall marketing efforts of the Applewood Pointe Cooperative communities. Before joining Applewood Pointed and United Properties, Chuck spent 14 years in the senior housing and healthcare industry as Chief Operating Officer of Preferred Senior Services, Inc. and vice president of marketing for Elim Care Inc. Chuck has helped develop and market independent senior housing, assisted living and cooperatives located throughout the upper Midwest. Chuck is an active member in the Minnesota Association of Cooperatives. Chuck earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Central Michigan University.

Stacy Feliciano, marketing office administrator,

Stacy Feliciano joined United Properties in 2004 and is the office administrator for the marketing offices of Applewood Pointe. She is responsible for maintaining all office details, including client files, paperwork for purchased homes, supplies, marketing events as well as database and website management. Before joining United Properties, Stacy was the housing manager at another Bloomington cooperative and a Spanish teacher in California. She has been a leader of the summer children’s program at her church the since 2004. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mankato State University.

Carolyn Vandenberg, marketing associate,

Carolyn Vandenberg joined United Properties in March 2005 as a marketing associate for Applewood Pointe of New Brighton. In addition to marketing and selling the homes in New Brighton, Carolyn guides residents through the decisions around cooperative living. Before joining United Properties, Carolyn was a rental consultant for three years, helping people secure new homes. She also helped open up a new apartment building in Edina, providing her experience with new construction and property management. Carolyn earned an associate’s degree at Normandale College and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing from at St. Mary’s University.

Ellen Johnson, marketing associate, 952-884-6400
Ellen Johnson joined United Properties in October 2004 as a marketing associate. She marketed Applewood Pointe of Bloomington and is currently marketing homes at Applewood Pointe of Woodbury. Before joining United Properties and the Applewood Pointe marketing team, she spent 19 years raising her four children. Ellen earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bethel University and also has her real estate license.

Lana Sacia, marketing associate, 507-312-0030
Lana Sacia joined the Applewood Pointe team in 2007 as a marketing associate for Applewood Pointe of Winona. In addition to marketing the cooperative in Winona, she communicates with local leaders to obtain support and operates the local marketing/sales office. Before joining the team, Lana worked in marketing and business development roles for Saint Anne of Winona, Lee Enterprises and Century Expo. Lana is an active member of the Association of Cooperative Educators in which she serves as an educator and resource to area seniors. She maintains a Minnesota Real Estate License and recently earned the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation. She attended Viterbo College and the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire.
